European Languages and Studies

Welcome to European Languages and Studies

The Discipline Group of European Languages and Studies is in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at The University of Western Australia, located in the city of Perth.

European Languages and Studies involves the study and research of:

  • Europe in general, including the political, social and cultural aspects of contemporary Europe
  • The French, German, and Italian languages and cultures
The Discipline consists of over 30 academic staff, and is involved in teaching at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Please contact the European Languages and Studies office for all general enquiries. The office is open Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm (closed daily between 12:30pm-1:30pm) and is located in room 2.21 on the second floor of the Arts Building.
