Qualifications
- June 2004 PhD in French and Comparative Literature awarded by Lille-III University, France
- October 2001 MA in French Literature, awarded by the Faculty of Letters and Humanities, Novi Sad, Serbia-Montenegro.
- October 1999 BA (Hons) in French Language and Literature, awarded by the Faculty of Letters and Humanities, Novi Sad, Serbia-Montenegro.

Professional experience

- January 2009 – Lecturer in French at the UWA
- February 2007 – December 2008 Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the School of Languages and Linguistics, University of Melbourne, Australia.
- September 2006 – January 2007 Visiting Lecturer, Department of French Studies and Modern Languages, University of Cyprus, Nicosia.
- September 2002 – August 2004 Lector (Language assistant) for Serbo-Croatian at the University of Lille III, "Charles-de-Gaulle" and convener for this foreign language elective.

Teaching activities

- 2009 I will coordinate the “From Romanticism to Modernity” option course in collaboration with Dr Srilata Ravi in the second semester, and participate in the teaching of a variety of language courses (1101, 1103, 1105/2205, 3305).
- 2008 Tutor in French IA, post-VCE course at the University of Melbourne
- 2007 Tutor in French IB, post-VCE course at the University of Melbourne. I also taught the module on “Text and Image” studies as part of the “Research Topics and Methods” course.
- 2006 Unit coordinator and lecturer for two courses at the University of Cyprus: a survey course on “La littérature française du XIXe siècle” and a course on “La littérature française moderne”, focusing on French poetry from Baudelaire to the Surrealists.
- 2004–2005 While serving my national duty in Serbia-Montenegro, I was a tutor in a survey course on “Seventeenth-century French literature”.
- 2002–2004 I coordinated and taught all the Serbo-Croatian language and culture electives at the University of Lille-III.

Honours course taught

- 2008 “Text and Image: a Critical Introduction” offered as an umbrella subject to honours students of the School of Languages and Linguistics, at the University of Melbourne.

Honours thesis assessed

- 2008 Examined a thesis on «‘La Femme aux deux visages’ – Médiatisation et fantasme de la première greffe du visage».
